稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DDX5, also known as DEAD-box helicase 5, is a member of the DEAD-box protein family, which plays a crucial role in various aspects of RNA metabolism, including RNA splicing, translation, and ribosome biogenesis. Dysregulation of DDX5 has been implicated in numerous diseases, particularly cancer, where it exhibits oncogenic properties by promoting cell proliferation, survival, and metastasis. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of DDX5 in the modulation of gene expression and its interactions with various RNA molecules, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Research has focused on the structural and functional characterization of DDX5, particularly the mechanisms by which it unwinds RNA and facilitates the assembly of ribonucleoprotein complexes. The generation of recombinant DDX5 protein has proven essential for these studies, allowing for detailed biochemical and biophysical analyses of its activities. Understanding the intricate functions of DDX5 not only enhances our knowledge of RNA biology but also opens avenues for targeting this protein in cancer therapy and other diseases linked to RNA metabolism.
