Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD24 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored cell surface protein that plays a significant role in cell adhesion, immune response modulation, and tumor progression. It is expressed in various cell types, including hematopoietic cells, and has been closely associated with cancer biology, particularly in facilitating tumor metastasis and immune evasion. Research has demonstrated that CD24 interacts with several ligands and signaling pathways, influencing cellular behavior and fate. The interest in CD24 as a therapeutic target has surged, given its potential to serve as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Additionally, recombinant CD24 proteins have been developed for functional studies and preclinical applications, allowing researchers to elucidate its mechanisms in disease processes and explore avenues for targeted therapies. As such, studying recombinant CD24 not only enhances our understanding of its biological functions but also opens new possibilities for innovative cancer treatment strategies. Through the production and characterization of CD24 recombinant proteins, scientists aim to dissect its role in immune modulation, identify potential interactions with other tumor-associated factors, and develop novel approaches that could mitigate CD24's contribution to tumorigenesis and metastasis. This research is pivotal for advancing our knowledge of oncological processes and improving personalized medicine approaches in cancer therapy.
