Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RPS21, a key component of the ribosomal 40S subunit, plays a crucial role in the essential process of protein synthesis within the cell. As a member of the ribosomal protein family, RPS21 contributes to the assembly and structural stability of ribosomes, which are pivotal for translating messenger RNA (mRNA) into polypeptides. The study of RPS21, particularly its recombinant protein, has gained attention due to its potential implications in understanding ribosomal biogenesis and function, as well as its roles in cellular growth and proliferation. Abnormalities or mutations in ribosomal proteins like RPS21 have been linked to various diseases, including cancer and ribosomopathies. Consequently, generating recombinant RPS21 offers valuable insights into its structural and functional properties, facilitating the exploration of its interactions within the ribosome and with other cellular factors. Furthermore, recombinant RPS21 can serve as a critical tool in biophysical studies, drug screening, and therapeutic developments, providing a deeper understanding of ribosomal dynamics and their implications in health and disease. As research continues to unveil the complexities of ribosomal functions, RPS21 stands out as a significant target in the ongoing efforts to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying protein synthesis and its regulation.
