稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GAD67 (glutamic acid decarboxylase 67) is a key enzyme involved in the synthesis of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), the primary inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. Abnormal GAD67 function has been linked to various neuropsychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia, anxiety, and autism spectrum disorders. Due to its critical role in neurotransmission and maintaining neural balance, GAD67 has garnered significant interest in neuroscience research. The recombinant expression of GAD67 protein allows for the detailed study of its biochemical properties, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with other proteins. Furthermore, understanding GAD67's enzymatic function and its regulatory pathways can provide insights into the pathophysiology of GABAergic signaling disruptions in various neurological conditions. Advances in recombinant DNA technology facilitate the production of this protein in suitable expression systems, enabling researchers to perform in vitro studies and develop potential therapeutic interventions. Investigating the structure-function relationship of GAD67 through recombinant protein studies can also aid in the identification of molecular targets for drug development, with the goal of restoring GABAergic function in affected individuals. This line of research is crucial for elucidating the mechanistic aspects underlying the role of GAD67 in both health and disease, paving the way for innovative strategies to address neurological and psychiatric disorders linked to GABA dysregulation.
