Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
REG3D, a member of the Regenerating Islet-Derived (REG) protein family, has garnered significant interest in the field of biomedical research due to its multifaceted role in various physiological and pathophysiological processes. Initially identified for its critical functions in pancreatic beta-cell regeneration, REG3D has been implicated in the immune response, particularly in aspects related to inflammation and tissue repair. Its expression is primarily induced in response to inflammatory stimuli, positioning REG3D as a potential biomarker for inflammatory diseases and a target for therapeutic interventions. The protein exhibits antimicrobial properties, particularly against gram-positive bacteria, suggesting its involvement in innate immunity. Research has expanded to explore REG3D's potential in metabolic disorders, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases, reflecting its significance beyond pancreas-related functions. Given its diverse roles, the recombinant production of REG3D allows for in-depth studies to elucidate its mechanisms of action, interactions with other proteins, and potential clinical applications. Scientists are particularly focused on harnessing REG3D’s properties for developing novel treatments to modulate inflammation and enhance tissue repair, making it a promising candidate in regenerative medicine.
