Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RNF2, also known as RING finger protein 2, is an E3 ubiquitin ligase that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including gene expression regulation, cell cycle progression, and DNA damage response. The protein is part of the polycomb repressive complex and is involved in histone modification, particularly in the monoubiquitination of histone H2A, which contributes to gene silencing. Dysregulation of RNF2 has been implicated in several malignancies, making it a potential therapeutic target. Research into RNF2 recombinant protein focuses on understanding its structure-function relationship, regulatory mechanisms, and its role in tumorigenesis. By expressing and purifying RNF2 in a recombinant form, scientists aim to elucidate its biochemical properties and interactions with substrates and other cellular partners. These studies are critical for developing targeted therapies that could mitigate the oncogenic effects associated with RNF2 dysregulation. Moreover, RNF2's involvement in epigenetic modulation highlights its importance as a key player in maintaining cellular homeostasis, thereby providing insights into the underlying mechanisms of gene regulation in health and disease. Overall, RNF2 continues to be a significant focus of research, bridging molecular biology with potential clinical applications.
