Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of recombinant proteins, particularly the cfaE protein, has gained significant importance in the field of microbiology and biotechnology. cfaE, which encodes the enzyme involved in cyclic di-AMP synthesis, plays a crucial role in bacterial signaling and survival under stress conditions. Research indicates that cyclic di-AMP is vital for various bacterial functions, including cell wall homeostasis, antibiotic resistance, and biogenesis of virulence factors. Understanding the cfaE gene and its protein product is essential for developing new antimicrobial strategies, especially given the rise of antibiotic-resistant pathogens. Recombinant expression systems allow for the production of cfaE protein in a controlled laboratory environment, enabling further characterization of its biochemical properties and functions. By studying cfaE, researchers aim to elucidate its role in bacterial physiology and its potential as a target for novel therapeutic interventions. This work is particularly relevant for public health, as it can contribute to the discovery of new treatments against infections caused by resistant bacteria, thereby addressing a critical challenge in modern medicine.
