Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C5orf4, also known as chromosome 5 open reading frame 4, is a protein-coding gene that has garnered attention in recent years for its potential implications in various biological processes and diseases. Initially, its function was relatively obscure, but advances in molecular biology have started to elucidate its roles, particularly in relation to cell proliferation, immune response, and possibly as a factor in cancer biology. The emergence of high-throughput genomic sequencing technologies has facilitated the identification of C5orf4's expression patterns across different tissues and its association with certain pathologies, including neoplasms. Moreover, studies suggest that C5orf4 may interact with other signaling pathways, potentially influencing therapeutic responses in cancer treatments. Given the growing body of evidence linking C5orf4 to critical cellular functions, research into its recombinant protein form has become a focal point to advance our understanding of its structure-function relationships. By generating and characterizing C5orf4 recombinant proteins, researchers aim to unveil its biological roles, explore its potential as a biomarker, and assess its feasibility as a target for novel therapeutic strategies. This line of inquiry is particularly relevant in the context of precision medicine, where understanding the molecular underpinnings of diseases can lead to more tailored and effective treatment options. As research progresses, C5orf4 stands out as a promising candidate for further exploration, with the potential to contribute significantly to both basic science and translational medicine.
