Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-15 (IL-15) is a pivotal cytokine involved in the regulation of immune responses, specifically in the proliferation and activation of natural killer (NK) cells and CD8+ T cells. Due to its critical role in enhancing immune surveillance and response, IL-15 has garnered significant attention in the field of immunotherapy, particularly for cancer treatment and viral infections. The recombinant IL-15 protein has been developed to exploit its therapeutic potential, enabling researchers to study its biological functions and explore its applications in clinical settings. In various preclinical and clinical trials, recombinant IL-15 has demonstrated the ability to boost the efficacy of immune responses and improve anti-tumor activity, leading to prolonged survival rates in patients with malignancies. Moreover, IL-15's synergistic effects with other therapies, such as checkpoint inhibitors and adoptive cell transfer, have underscored its importance as a promising immunomodulatory agent. Investigating its recombinant forms aids in understanding the precise mechanisms of IL-15's action, optimizing dosing strategies, and evaluating combination therapies, thus paving the way for innovative treatment paradigms in oncology and infectious diseases.
