Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LAMP1 (Lysosomal Associated Membrane Protein 1) is a membrane glycoprotein predominantly found in the lysosomal membranes, playing a crucial role in lysosomal function, signal transduction, and cell membrane trafficking. Research has highlighted LAMP1's involvement in various cellular processes, including autophagy and immune responses, which are essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis. Its significance is further underscored by associations with several diseases, including lysosomal storage disorders and cancer, where altered LAMP1 expression can affect cellular signaling pathways and tumor progression. The production of recombinant LAMP1 proteins has become a focal point for detailed studies, facilitating the exploration of its structure-function relationships and potential therapeutic applications. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, scientists can generate LAMP1 in sufficient quantities for biochemical assays, structural analyses, and functional studies. These efforts aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying LAMP1's role in health and disease, ultimately contributing to the development of targeted therapies that can manipulate lysosomal functions in pathological conditions. Understanding LAMP1 at a molecular level could lead to breakthroughs in treating diseases characterized by lysosomal dysfunction, highlighting its significance in both basic research and translational medicine.
