Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BIRC4BP, also known as Baculoviral IAP Repeat Containing 4 Binding Protein, is an important regulator of cell survival and apoptosis. It has gained significant attention in recent years due to its role in various cellular processes, including cancer progression, immune response, and neurotransmission. This protein functions by interacting with inhibitors of apoptosis proteins (IAPs), modulating their activity, and influencing signaling pathways involved in cell death. Research has shown that BIRC4BP can have oncogenic properties, promoting tumor cell proliferation and survival under stress conditions, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention in cancer. Additionally, BIRC4BP's involvement in immune responses highlights its potential role in autoimmune diseases and infectious diseases. The production of recombinant BIRC4BP proteins allows for detailed studies of its structure and function, aiding in the development of small molecule inhibitors or monoclonal antibodies that could disrupt its interactions with IAPs. Such advancements could lead to novel treatments that enhance apoptosis in cancer cells or modulate immune responses. Overall, the study of BIRC4BP is pivotal for understanding complex biological processes and developing targeted therapies in oncology and immunology.
