Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCN2, also known as connective tissue growth factor (CTGF), is a multifunctional protein that plays a critical role in various physiological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and extracellular matrix (ECM) production. Its involvement in fibrosis, wound healing, and tissue regeneration has attracted significant research interest, particularly in conditions such as fibrosis, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases. Studies have shown that CCN2/CTGF is upregulated in response to pathological stimuli, suggesting its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. Furthermore, the protein engages in key signaling pathways, including those mediated by growth factors, which link it to various cellular responses. Understanding the precise mechanisms and interactions of CCN2/CTGF is essential for developing novel therapeutic strategies, making the production and study of recombinant CCN2/CTGF proteins invaluable for research. These recombinant proteins, produced using advanced biotechnological methods, enable scientists to investigate the functional roles of CCN2/CTGF in different cellular contexts, assess its impact on ECM dynamics, and evaluate its therapeutic potential in diseases characterized by dysregulated tissue remodeling. Overall, recombinant CCN2/CTGF research contributes to a deeper understanding of its biological significance and therapeutic implications in various pathological conditions.
