稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of EXT2 recombinant proteins is pivotal in understanding the genetic and biochemical mechanisms underlying Hereditary Multiple Exostoses (HME), a genetic disorder characterized by the formation of multiple benign bone tumors known as exostoses. EXT2, along with its partner gene EXT1, encodes for glycosyltransferases that are crucial for heparan sulfate biosynthesis, a critical component involved in cell signaling, growth factor activity, and cellular interaction. Mutations in EXT2 disrupt heparan sulfate synthesis, leading to the abnormal proliferation of chondrocytes and ultimately to exostosis formation. By producing recombinant EXT2 proteins, researchers aim to elucidate the enzyme's structure-function relationship, explore the effects of specific mutations, and develop targeted therapies. Additionally, studying EXT2's interaction with EXT1 and other cellular partners can provide insights into the molecular pathways affected in HME and potential therapeutic strategies. Given the complexity of heparan sulfate structures and their diverse biological roles, the recombinant EXT2 protein is also valuable for high-throughput screening of small molecules that could modulate its activity or mimic its function, presenting new avenues for treatment of exostosis development and associated complications.
