简介
IGF2R proteins coordinate cellular processes by transporting phosphorylated lysosomal enzymes from the Golgi complex to lysosomes. Lysosomal enzymes with phosphomannosyl residues bind to mannose-6-phosphate receptors in the Golgi apparatus, form complexes, and transport to the acidic prelysosomal compartment. IGF2R Protein, Human (Biotinylated, HEK293, His-Avi) is the recombinant human-derived IGF2R protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-Avi, C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IGF2R, or Insulin-like Growth Factor 2 Receptor, is a critical protein involved in various physiological processes, including growth, development, and metabolism. It primarily acts by binding to insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF2), facilitating its clearance from circulation and modulating cellular signaling pathways. Dysregulation of IGF2R has been implicated in numerous diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders, making it a significant target for therapeutic interventions. Researchers have focused on characterizing the structure and function of IGF2R, as well as developing recombinant forms of the protein to study its biological roles and potential clinical applications. The production of IGF2R as a recombinant protein has enabled in-depth investigations into its interactions with ligands, its role in cellular signaling, and its utility as a biomarker for disease progression. Furthermore, recombinant IGF2R is being explored for its potential in targeted therapies, as it may serve to inhibit malignancies that exploit the IGF signaling pathway. Overall, the research on IGF2R recombinant protein encompasses fundamental biological insights and promising therapeutic avenues, underscoring its importance in the realms of cellular biology and medical research.
