简介
The IGF-I R protein is a receptor tyrosine kinase that mediates the effects of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF1) and has high affinity for IGF1. Upon ligand binding, IGF1R is activated, leading to autophosphorylation and tyrosine phosphorylation of substrates, including IRS1/2, Shc, and 14-3-3 proteins. IGF-I R Protein, Cynomolgus (HEK293, His) is the recombinant cynomolgus-derived IGF-I R protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF1R) is a transmembrane receptor that plays a crucial role in growth, development, and metabolism by mediating the effects of insulin-like growth factors (IGFs). It is involved in various cellular processes, including proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of IGF1R signaling has been implicated in several pathologies, including cancer, obesity, and diabetes, making it a significant target for therapeutic interventions. Research on recombinant IGF1R proteins has gained momentum as they can be utilized for various applications, such as studying receptor structure and function, understanding its role in signal transduction, and developing potential drugs. Recombinant IGF1R can be produced in various systems, including bacteria, yeast, and mammalian cells, allowing researchers to obtain functional proteins for in vitro studies and potential therapeutic applications. Additionally, the generation of IGF1R antibodies and ligands derived from recombinant forms has facilitated advances in cancer research, particularly in identifying biomarkers and targets for novel therapies. Overall, the study of recombinant IGF1R continues to provide valuable insights into its biological functions and therapeutic potential, contributing to the ongoing exploration of treatments for diseases linked to IGF1R dysregulation.
