Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MKNK1, or MAP kinase-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 1, plays a crucial role in cell signaling pathways, particularly those activated by extracellular stimuli such as growth factors and stress signals. As a key downstream target of the MAPK (mitogen-activated protein kinase) pathway, MKNK1 is implicated in the regulation of various cellular processes including protein synthesis, cell proliferation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of MKNK1 has been associated with several pathological conditions, including cancer, where it can contribute to tumor growth and resistance to therapies. Given its importance in these signaling pathways, researchers have focused on developing recombinant MKNK1 protein to better understand its functional mechanisms and explore its potential as a therapeutic target. The generation of a recombinant protein allows for advanced biochemical and structural studies, enabling the elucidation of MKNK1's role in various cellular contexts. Efforts to characterize MKNK1, including its enzymatic activity, interaction with other signaling molecules, and participation in post-translational modifications, are pivotal for the development of novel treatments aimed at diseases linked to MKNK1 dysregulation. Such studies not only contribute to the basic understanding of cellular signaling networks but also extend the potential for MKNK1-based interventions in clinical settings.
