Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ABCE1 (ATP-Binding Cassette Sub-Family E Member 1) is an essential protein that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including translation regulation and viral replication. As a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter family, ABCE1 is unique in its dual functionality; it not only transports molecules across membranes but also interacts with ribosomes and influences protein synthesis. Research has increasingly focused on ABCE1 due to its implications in health and disease. Studies have demonstrated that ABCE1 is involved in the innate immune response, facilitating the translation of specific mRNAs in response to viral infections, making it a potential target for antiviral therapies. Furthermore, dysregulation of ABCE1 has been linked to cancer biology, where it might affect the ability of cells to regulate growth and apoptosis. Understanding the structural and functional properties of ABCE1, particularly through the study of its recombinant forms, provides valuable insights into its mechanistic roles and potential therapeutic applications. Techniques such as X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy are being employed to elucidate its structure, while functional assays are advancing our knowledge of its interactions at the molecular level. Collectively, this research paves the way for harnessing ABCE1 as a biomarker or a molecular target in various diseases, emphasizing the importance of continued exploration in the field of recombinant protein studies.
