Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MANBA, also known as mannosidase beta A, is an important enzyme involved in glycoprotein processing and degradation within the lysosome. This enzyme plays a crucial role in the hydrolysis of mannose residues from glycoproteins, facilitating their proper functioning and turnover within the cell. Understanding the structure and function of MANBA is essential due to its connection to various lysosomal storage disorders, such as beta-mannosidosis, which can lead to significant clinical manifestations including cognitive impairment and neurological deficits. Research surrounding MANBA encompasses not only its enzymatic activity but also its potential role in cellular signaling pathways and immune responses. Advanced studies employ techniques such as X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy to elucidate its three-dimensional structure, aiming to identify key active sites for therapeutic targeting. Additionally, the development of MANBA inhibitors or replacement therapies is of great interest in the context of treating diseases linked to its dysfunction. As ongoing investigations continue to reveal new aspects of MANBA’s biological significance, it presents a promising avenue for understanding the complexities of glycoprotein metabolism and addressing related pathologies.
