Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LYSMD2 (lysine- and methionine-rich domain 2) is a relatively novel protein that has garnered attention in the fields of molecular biology and biochemistry due to its potential roles in various cellular processes. Initially identified through genomic studies, LYSMD2 is thought to be involved in stress responses and cellular signaling pathways, which are crucial for maintaining cellular homeostasis. The protein possesses multiple domains that suggest interactions with other cellular components, potentially influencing gene expression and chromatin remodeling. Recent studies have implicated LYSMD2 in the regulation of inflammatory responses and immune system modulation, indicating its relevance in both health and disease. Additionally, its unique domain structure raises questions about its evolutionary significance and functional diversity among different organisms. As such, producing recombinant LYSMD2 protein is vital for enabling detailed biochemical and biophysical analyses. By studying the structure-function relationships of LYSMD2, researchers aim to elucidate its role in cellular processes and uncover its potential as a therapeutic target in inflammatory diseases and cancer. The successful expression and purification of LYSMD2 as a recombinant protein will provide valuable insights into its mechanisms of action and may facilitate the development of novel strategies for modulating immune responses.
