Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PMSA (Prostate Membrane Specific Antigen) is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein predominantly expressed in prostate tissues and is also found in various cancer types, including breast and lung cancers. Its primary role is believed to relate to cellular adhesion and signaling. Research into PMSA has gained significant traction due to its potential as a biomarker for prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment. Unlike the widely known prostate-specific antigen (PSA), PMSA appears to be more specific for malignant cells, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions. The development of PMSA-targeted therapies, such as monoclonal antibodies and immunoconjugates, aims to enhance the selectivity and efficacy of treatment while minimizing side effects associated with conventional therapies. Furthermore, the exploration of PMSA's role in tumor progression and metastasis may provide insights into its mechanisms and influence on the tumor microenvironment. As the understanding of PMSA’s biological functions and interactions expands, it opens new avenues for targeted treatment strategies and early detection methods in prostate cancer management. Thus, ongoing research is focusing on PMSA’s molecular characterization, expression profiling, and the investigation of its potential in diagnostic and therapeutic applications, paving the way for innovative approaches in oncology.
