EphA3

简介
The EphA3 protein is a receptor tyrosine kinase that promiscuously binds to membrane-bound ephrin ligands to initiate bidirectional signaling. Activation of EphA3 is known to preferentially bind to EFNA5 and regulates cell-cell adhesion, cytoskeletal organization, and migration. EphA3 Protein, Human (sf9, GST) is the recombinant human-derived EphA3, expressed by Sf9 insect cells, with GST labeled tag. The total length of EphA3 Protein, Human (sf9, GST) is 405 a.a..

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EphA3 is a member of the Eph receptor tyrosine kinase family, which plays a critical role in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and differentiation. Its involvement in developmental processes and its aberrant expression in multiple types of cancers, such as leukemia and solid tumors, make EphA3 a significant target for therapeutic interventions. The study of EphA3 recombinant proteins has gained traction due to their potential in elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying its functions and interactions with ephrin ligands. Moreover, these recombinant proteins can serve as valuable tools in developing targeted therapies and diagnostics aimed at conditions where EphA3 is dysregulated. As research progresses, the characterization of EphA3 recombinant proteins will not only enhance our understanding of tumor biology but also facilitate the development of novel strategies that exploit the EphA3 signaling pathway for cancer treatment. The ability to produce and manipulate EphA3 recombinant proteins in a laboratory setting opens new avenues for investigating their roles in cellular signaling and for potential applications in precision medicine, emphasizing the importance of continued research in this area.
