Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KSR (Kinase Suppressor of Ras) proteins are critical components in the Ras signaling pathway, which regulates various cellular processes, including growth, differentiation, and survival. They serve as scaffolding proteins that facilitate the interaction between different kinases and downstream effectors, thus enhancing the specificity and efficiency of Ras signaling. In recent years, KSR has garnered attention due to its role in cancer biology, particularly in the context of tumors driven by aberrant Ras signaling. Research has shown that KSR can promote oncogenic signaling and contribute to tumorigenesis, making it a potential therapeutic target. Moreover, KSR's interaction with various signaling molecules and its influence on the organization of signaling complexes have made it a focus of investigation in the quest to understand the complexities of signal transduction. Given its pivotal role in both normal physiology and disease, ongoing studies aim to elucidate the precise mechanisms by which KSR operates, explore its interactions, and assess its potential as a biomarker or target for cancer therapy. These investigations not only deepen our understanding of the Ras pathway but also open avenues for innovative treatment strategies aimed at modulating KSR activity in cancer and other diseases associated with dysregulated Ras signaling.
