Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KNTC2, a member of the Kinesin-14 family, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including mitosis, intracellular transport, and the organization of the cytoskeleton. Its significance has been underscored by emerging evidence linking KNTC2 to essential functions in chromosome alignment and spindle organization during cell division. The protein's unique motor domain and ability to interact with microtubules make it a pivotal player in the dynamics of the mitotic spindle, which is fundamental for maintaining genomic stability. Dysfunction or dysregulation of KNTC2 has been associated with various diseases, including cancer, where improper chromosomal segregation can lead to aneuploidy and tumorigenesis. Consequently, there is an increasing interest in studying KNTC2 through recombinant protein technologies. By expressing and purifying KNTC2 in model systems, researchers aim to elucidate its structure-function relationship and the molecular mechanisms underlying its role in mitosis and cellular transport. Investigating KNTC2 using recombinant proteins also facilitates the development of potential therapeutic interventions targeting its pathways in diseases characterized by cell division abnormalities. Overall, the study of KNTC2 recombinant protein is essential for advancing our understanding of cell biology and may provide novel insights into targeted treatments for cancer and other related disorders.
