Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FLOT1 (Flotillin-1) is a membrane-associated protein that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including signaling, endocytosis, and cytoskeletal organization. As a member of the flotillin family, FLOT1 is predominantly found in lipid rafts—specialized microdomains within the plasma membrane that are rich in cholesterol and sphingolipids. These microdomains facilitate the clustering of certain proteins and receptors, influencing cellular communication and metabolism. Research has indicated that FLOT1 is implicated in the regulation of several signaling pathways, particularly those related to cancer progression and immune response. Abnormal expression levels of FLOT1 have been associated with various diseases, including cancer, where it may enhance tumor growth and metastasis. Consequently, FLOT1 has gained attention as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. The development of recombinant FLOT1 proteins aids in elucidating its functions and interactions within cellular systems, providing insights into the broader implications of lipid rafts in health and disease. Researchers are keen to explore the therapeutic possibilities of manipulating FLOT1 activity to design innovative strategies for treating illnesses linked to its dysregulation.
