Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KIAA1826 is a gene of growing interest in the field of molecular biology and genetics, primarily due to its implications in various cellular processes and potential associations with neurological disorders. Initially discovered through large-scale cDNA sequencing projects, KIAA1826 encodes a protein involved in the regulation of cellular functions, including neuronal development and maintenance. Recent studies have highlighted its expression patterns in the brain and its potential role in synaptic plasticity, which is critical for learning and memory. Additionally, alterations in the expression of KIAA1826 have been linked to pathologies such as schizophrenia and other neurodevelopmental disorders, suggesting that understanding its functional mechanisms could lead to novel therapeutic approaches. Researchers are increasingly focused on producing recombinant KIAA1826 protein to investigate its structure and interactions at a molecular level. This research involves utilizing various expression systems to ensure proper folding and post-translational modifications, which are essential for the protein's functionality. The study of KIAA1826 not only contributes to the broader understanding of gene function and regulation but also opens avenues for potential interventions in neurological diseases, making it a significant target for future research in molecular medicine and biotechnology.
