  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The study of SDF-1 beta (stromal cell-derived factor 1 beta), also known as CXCL12, has gained considerable attention due to its critical role in various biological processes, including hematopoiesis, angiogenesis, and the immune response. SDF-1 beta is a chemokine that acts as a chemoattractant for various cell types, particularly in the contexts of stem cell migration and tissue repair. Its interaction with the CXCR4 receptor is pivotal for guiding stem cells to sites of injury and inflammation, making it an essential factor in regenerative medicine. Moreover, dysregulation of the SDF-1/CXCR4 axis has been implicated in several pathological conditions, such as cancer metastasis and autoimmune diseases. Research on recombinant SDF-1 beta protein focuses on elucidating its structure-function relationships, optimizing its therapeutic potential, and exploring its mechanisms of action. By generating and characterizing recombinant SDF-1 beta, scientists aim to develop novel treatment strategies for enhancing stem cell mobilization, improving tissue regeneration, and potentially addressing various diseases linked to its signaling pathways. The ongoing investigation into this chemokine holds promise for advancing our understanding of cell migration and its broader implications in health and disease.
