Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of 4a recombinant proteins is rooted in the exploration of plant viruses, particularly the turnip mosaic virus (TuMV), which is known to affect various crops and lead to significant agricultural losses. The 4a protein, a multifunctional protein encoded by the virus, has garnered attention due to its role in the viral life cycle and its interactions with host plant defenses. Research indicates that the 4a protein possesses capabilities to suppress RNA silencing in plants, a crucial defense mechanism that targets viral RNAs for degradation. Additionally, it is involved in enhancing viral pathogenicity and facilitating virus movement within the host. Understanding the structural and functional properties of the 4a protein can shed light on its mechanisms of action, providing insights that may lead to the development of more effective strategies for crop protection. Furthermore, recombinant techniques allow scientists to produce and study this protein in controlled environments, enabling detailed analyses of its interactions with host systems. These studies not only contribute to fundamental plant virology knowledge but may also inform the development of viral-resistant crop varieties through genetic engineering or other biotechnological approaches. In summary, the investigation of 4a recombinant proteins is pivotal for advancing our understanding of plant-virus interactions and enhancing agricultural sustainability in the face of viral threats.
