Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
INPP5E (Inositol Polyphosphate-5-Phosphatase E) is a member of the inositol phosphate phosphatase family, which plays a crucial role in the regulation of cellular signaling pathways involving phosphoinositides. This protein is primarily involved in the hydrolysis of inositol 1,3,4,5-tetrakisphosphate, leading to the modulation of intracellular calcium levels and the phosphoinositide signaling cascade. Mutations in the INPP5E gene have been associated with several neurological disorders, including Joubert syndrome and other ciliopathies, which highlights its significance in neurodevelopment and ciliary function. The reconstitution of INPP5E as a recombinant protein allows for detailed biochemical and structural studies, providing insights into its enzymatic mechanisms, substrate specificity, and regulatory interactions. Given its pivotal role in cellular processes, understanding INPP5E function and regulation through recombinant protein studies can lead to potential therapeutic targets for treating associated diseases. Overall, research on INPP5E recombinant proteins not only deepens our comprehension of its biological functions but also contributes to the development of strategies for mitigating the consequences of INPP5E-related pathologies.
