Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SIGLEC1, also known as sialoadhesin, is a member of the sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin (SIGLEC) family and plays a crucial role in immune regulation and cellular interactions, particularly in macrophages. It is predominantly expressed on the surface of these immune cells and has been implicated in mediating the recognition of pathogens, self-cells, and modulating inflammatory responses through its interaction with sialylated glycoconjugates. The study of SIGLEC1 has gained significant attention due to its potential as a therapeutic target in various diseases, including infections, autoimmune disorders, and cancer. Recombinant SIGLEC1 protein has been developed to further elucidate its biological functions and to explore its utility in clinical applications. Understanding the structural and functional characteristics of SIGLEC1 is essential for developing novel immunotherapies and vaccines, as it can improve our understanding of immune evasion strategies employed by pathogens and contribute to the design of agents that can enhance immune responses.
