Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TRPC1 (transient receptor potential canonical 1) is a member of the TRP channel family, which is known for its role in various cellular processes, including calcium influx, signal transduction, and sensory perception. TRPC1 is particularly implicated in mediating calcium entry in response to various stimuli, making it a crucial component in the function of excitable and non-excitable cells. Research has shown that TRPC1 is involved in diverse physiological functions, such as vascular smooth muscle contraction, neuronal excitability, and immune cell activation. Dysregulation of TRPC1 has been linked to several pathological conditions, including cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancer, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The production of recombinant TRPC1 protein has become essential for elucidating its structure-function relationship and understanding its role in cellular signaling pathways. This enables researchers to explore TRPC1’s pharmacological potential and to develop targeted therapies for conditions associated with TRPC1 dysfunction. By employing advanced techniques in molecular biology and biochemistry, scientists aim to produce large quantities of functional TRPC1 protein to facilitate structural studies and pharmacological screening, ultimately contributing to a greater understanding of its biological significance and therapeutic possibilities.
