Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ITGa3, or Integrin Alpha 3, is a crucial protein in the integrin family that plays a significant role in cell adhesion, migration, and signaling processes. Its primary function is to form heterodimers with integrin beta subunits, facilitating the interaction between cells and the extracellular matrix (ECM). This interaction is vital in various physiological processes, including tissue development, wound healing, and immune responses. Aberrant expression or dysfunction of ITGa3 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, such as cancer metastasis and autoimmune diseases. As a result, researchers have been increasingly interested in the structural and functional characterization of ITGa3, particularly in relation to its role in cell behavior and disease mechanisms. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant expression of ITGa3 to better understand its interaction with ligands and other molecular partners, which can provide insights into its mechanistic pathways. This research is not only pivotal for elucidating the fundamental biology of integrins but also holds potential for therapeutic applications, such as developing targeted treatments for diseases associated with integrin dysregulation. Overall, the study of ITGa3 as a recombinant protein offers valuable opportunities to explore its cellular functions and the implications of its modulation in health and disease.
