Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GSS (Glutathione S-Transferase) fusion proteins are widely utilized in molecular biology and biotechnology for various research and industrial applications. The GSS-tag, derived from glutathione S-transferase, facilitates the purification and characterization of proteins of interest by leveraging the specific interaction between the GSS tag and glutathione-bound resins. This inherent property allows for an efficient one-step purification process, which is crucial for obtaining large quantities of proteins that may be difficult to isolate otherwise. Additionally, the GSS fusion partner can enhance the solubility and stability of the target proteins, thereby improving their functional attributes. Researchers have investigated the versatility of GSS in various contexts, such as the study of protein-protein interactions, enzymatic activity, and protein folding mechanisms. Moreover, GSS fusion proteins have become essential tools in drug discovery and development, as they provide a platform for screening candidates and analyzing biochemical pathways. Overall, the study of GSS fusion proteins embodies the intersection of basic research and practical applications, making it a significant focus in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology.
