Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The CLOCK protein, a key component of the circadian clock, plays a critical role in regulating biological rhythms in mammals, including sleep-wake cycles, hormonal secretion, and metabolic processes. It functions as a transcription factor that forms a heterodimer with the BMAL1 protein, binding to E-box elements in the promoter regions of target genes to regulate their expression in a 24-hour cycle. Research on CLOCK has expanded significantly over the past two decades, highlighting its involvement not only in circadian rhythm regulation but also in various physiological processes, including cell proliferation, immune responses, and metabolic homeostasis. Mutations or dysregulation of CLOCK have been linked to several disorders, such as sleep disorders, obesity, and mood disorders, underscoring its importance in health and disease. Recent advances in techniques such as CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing and protein structural analysis have opened new avenues for understanding CLOCK’s molecular mechanisms and interactions. Investigating CLOCK's role in different cellular contexts and its potential as a therapeutic target presents a promising frontier in chronobiology and disease treatment.
