  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

MYO1B, a member of the myosin superfamily, plays a significant role in cellular processes such as intracellular transport, cell motility, and signal transduction. This unconventional myosin is primarily associated with the dynamics of actin filaments and is known to interact with various cellular membranes and organelles, contributing to the maintenance of cellular structure and function. Research on MYO1B has gained momentum due to its potential implications in understanding various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, where its dysfunction may disrupt normal cellular processes. Additionally, the study of MYO1B recombinant protein has become essential for elucidating its molecular mechanisms and interactions at the biochemical level. By investigating its structure and function through advanced techniques such as crystallography and biophysical assays, researchers aim to uncover how MYO1B modulates cellular activities and contributes to pathophysiological conditions. The generation of MYO1B recombinant protein allows for detailed studies into its motor activity, binding affinities, and regulatory mechanisms, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of its role in health and disease. Overall, the research surrounding MYO1B not only enhances our knowledge of myosin family proteins but also holds promise for developing novel therapeutic strategies targeting myosin-related pathways in various diseases.
