Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Fibroblast-specific protein 1 (FSP1), also known as FIBP or fibroblast activation protein, has gained significant attention in recent years due to its essential role in various physiological and pathological processes. This protein is primarily expressed in fibroblasts, playing critical roles in tissue remodeling, wound healing, and tumor microenvironment dynamics. The study of FIBP has become increasingly relevant in cancer research because it is associated with tumor progression and metastasis. Elevated levels of FIBP in the tumor stroma are linked to poor prognosis in several cancer types, implicating its involvement in promoting an aggressive tumor phenotype. Researchers aim to better understand the molecular mechanisms governing FIBP expression and its interactions with other cellular components. In addition, the development of recombinant FIBP proteins has opened new avenues for studying its functional properties and potential therapeutic applications. By leveraging advanced biotechnological methods, scientists are investigating ways to inhibit FIBP activity, which could lead to novel strategies for cancer treatment. This burgeoning field of research emphasizes the need for comprehensive studies that dissect FIBP's role in the tumor microenvironment and its potential as a biomarker for cancer prognosis, thus paving the way for innovative therapeutic interventions.
