  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Interferon alpha 7 (IFNa7) is a member of the type I interferon family, which plays a crucial role in the immune response against viral infections and tumor cells. Research on IFNa7 has gained momentum due to its potential therapeutic applications in treating various diseases, including hepatitis, certain cancers, and autoimmune disorders. Despite the existence of multiple interferon subtypes, IFNa7 stands out due to its unique expression patterns and functional properties. Studies have demonstrated that IFNa7 exhibits distinct antiviral activities and immunomodulatory effects compared to its counterparts. This has prompted investigations into its recombinant protein form for clinical use. The use of recombinant technology allows for the production of IFNa7 in sufficient quantities for therapeutic purposes, thus enhancing its potential in clinical settings. Furthermore, understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying IFNa7's action can lead to the development of novel treatment strategies that harness its immunotherapeutic capabilities. Current research efforts are focused on optimizing recombinant protein production, characterizing its biological activity, and evaluating its efficacy in preclinical and clinical trials. As the landscape of immunotherapy evolves, IFNa7 remains a promising candidate for advancing treatment options in the realm of infectious diseases and cancer immunotherapy.
