Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
WASF2 (Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome Protein Family Member 2) is a crucial protein that plays a significant role in actin cytoskeleton dynamics and cell motility. Originally identified as a key player in the immune response, WASF2 is implicated in the signaling pathways that govern actin polymerization, which is essential for various cellular processes including migration, shape maintenance, and cytokinesis. Aberrant expression or dysfunction of WASF2 has been linked to several pathological conditions, including cancer metastasis and immune deficiencies. As researchers increasingly focus on the biochemical and structural characterization of WASF2, recombinant protein studies have become pivotal in understanding its functional mechanisms. The production of WASF2 as a recombinant protein allows for detailed investigations into its interactions with other cellular components and the exploration of its regulatory mechanisms. Such studies are not only crucial for elucidating the molecular basis of cellular behaviors influenced by WASF2 but also hold potential therapeutic implications for targeting related diseases. Understanding WASF2’s role in cell biology through recombinant protein research can provide insights necessary for developing innovative strategies to modulate its activity in disease contexts.
