Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PF-4, also known as CXCL4, is a chemokine produced primarily by activated platelets, playing a critical role in inflammation and immune responses. Its involvement in various pathological conditions, including cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and thrombosis, has garnered significant research interest. PF-4 acts by binding to specific receptors on target cells, influencing cell migration, and modulating angiogenesis. The study of recombinant PF-4/CXCL4 proteins is pivotal for understanding its biological functions and therapeutic potential. By producing recombinant forms, researchers can manipulate its structure and evaluate its effects in vitro and in vivo. This recombinant protein serves as a valuable tool for elucidating the mechanisms underlying PF-4's actions and exploring its applications in clinical settings, such as treating inflammatory diseases or enhancing wound healing. Furthermore, the investigation of PF-4/CXCL4's role in tumor microenvironments has opened avenues for targeted cancer therapies, highlighting its significance in current biomedical research. Overall, the exploration of PF-4/CXCL4 recombinant proteins is essential for advancing our knowledge of chemokine biology and developing innovative therapeutic strategies.
