Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CST7 (cystatin 7) is a member of the cystatin superfamily, which serves as an important class of cysteine protease inhibitors. The study of CST7 has gained significant attention due to its potential roles in various biological processes and pathological conditions. Initially recognized for its involvement in the regulation of proteolytic activity, CST7 has been implicated in immune responses, cellular proliferation, and apoptosis. Recent research has indicated that CST7 may play a key role in the modulation of inflammatory processes and the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. Additionally, aberrant expression of CST7 has been linked to cancer progression, highlighting its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. Investigations into the structure and function of CST7 are facilitated by the development of recombinant proteins that allow for detailed biochemical analyses. These studies are crucial for elucidating CST7's mechanism of action and its interactions within various signaling pathways. As a result, ongoing research focuses on the characterization of CST7 recombinant proteins to explore their functional implications in health and disease, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies that leverage CST7's regulatory capabilities.
