Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CRABP1, or Cellular Retinoic Acid-Binding Protein 1, is a crucial protein in the intracellular transport of retinoic acid, a metabolite of vitamin A that plays a significant role in regulating gene expression, cell differentiation, and embryonic development. Research on CRABP1 has gained momentum due to its implications in various physiological processes and its potential involvement in pathological conditions, including cancer and teratogenesis. The protein influences retinoic acid availability to nuclear receptors, thereby modulating signaling pathways that affect cellular growth and development. Studies have indicated that altered levels of CRABP1 may correlate with tumor progression and prognosis in certain cancers, making it a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. Recombinant CRABP1 has been developed for various experimental applications, including structural studies and functional assays, which further elucidate its role in retinoic acid signaling and its interaction with retinoic acid receptors. Understanding CRABP1's structure and function through recombinant protein techniques may enhance our knowledge of retinoid biology and uncover new avenues for therapeutic interventions in retinoic acid-related disorders. This research is pivotal in deciphering the molecular mechanisms of CRABP1 and its impact on health and disease, thereby contributing to the broader field of cell biology and medicinal chemistry.
