Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CIB1 (Calcium-Interacting Protein 1) is a highly conserved protein that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including calcium signaling, cell adhesion, and motility. Its multifunctionality has made it a significant focus of research, particularly in understanding its involvement in cellular responses to extracellular signals. Various studies have indicated that CIB1 interacts with multiple partners, influencing pathways related to cell survival, proliferation, and migration, which are essential in the context of diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disorders. The study of CIB1 also extends to its potential role in regulating the cytoskeleton and the cellular architecture, providing insights into how cells maintain their shape and respond to mechanical stresses. Given its essential functions, producing recombinant CIB1 protein allows researchers to delve deeper into its molecular mechanisms and interactions, facilitating a better understanding of its contributions to health and disease. The exploration of CIB1 through recombinant techniques has the potential to pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its functions in various pathological conditions.
