Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NDNF (Neuron-Derived Neuropeptide F) is a peptide that has garnered significant attention in neurobiology due to its crucial role in regulating various physiological processes, particularly in the central nervous system. Research into NDNF has revealed its involvement in neuroprotection, modulation of stress responses, and influence on neurodevelopmental pathways. The structure of NDNF, being a neuropeptide, allows it to interact with specific receptors in the brain, which can affect both neurotransmission and neuroendocrine functions. Given its potential therapeutic implications, scientists are focused on recombinant protein technology to produce NDNF for detailed studies. This approach facilitates the generation of large quantities of the peptide for functional assays, structural analysis, and drug development. Understanding the mechanisms of NDNF signaling could lead to novel interventions for neurodegenerative diseases, mood disorders, and other neurological conditions. Therefore, the study of NDNF recombinant proteins is a pivotal area of research that promises to enhance our understanding of neuronal communication and eventually contribute to advancements in therapeutic strategies.
