Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CYP5A1, also known as cytochrome P450 5A1, is an important enzyme belonging to the cytochrome P450 superfamily, which plays a crucial role in the metabolism of various endogenous and exogenous compounds. Research has revealed that CYP5A1 is involved in the biotransformation of a wide range of substrates, including fatty acids and steroid hormones, thus influencing various physiological processes. Its expression has been linked to several pathological conditions, including cancer and cardiovascular diseases, highlighting the enzyme's potential as a therapeutic target. The production of recombinant CYP5A1 has become a significant area of interest due to its potential applications in drug metabolism studies, toxicology, and synthetic biology. The ability to produce this enzyme in a controlled manner allows researchers to explore its function and interactions in various biochemical pathways more thoroughly. Additionally, understanding the structure-function relationship of CYP5A1 can facilitate the development of specific inhibitors or therapeutics aimed at modulating its activity. Consequently, the ongoing research on recombinant CYP5A1 not only contributes to the fundamental knowledge of cytochrome P450 enzymes but also offers promising avenues for advancing drug discovery and developing novel therapeutic strategies.
