Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ASB8 (Ankyrin Repeat and SOCS Box-containing protein 8) is a member of the ankyrin repeat and suppressor of cytokine signaling (SOCS) box-containing protein family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including protein degradation, signal transduction, and the regulation of immune responses. Research on ASB8 has gained momentum due to its involvement in modulating pathways that are significant in cancer biology, neuroinflammation, and metabolic disorders. The protein acts as an E3 ubiquitin ligase, facilitating the ubiquitination of target proteins for proteasomal degradation, thereby influencing the stability and availability of key signaling molecules. Studies have indicated that ASB8 may participate in the regulation of inflammatory responses and has potential implications in the development of therapeutic strategies for inflammatory diseases and cancer. Furthermore, the need to understand the structure-function relationship of ASB8 has led to investigations on the characterization of its recombinant protein forms. These studies aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms by which ASB8 exerts its effects within cells, improving our understanding of its role in health and disease. The ongoing research exploring ASB8's properties, interactions, and functional implications is expected to shed light on novel approaches for disease intervention and personalized medicine, highlighting the significance of this protein in biological research and clinical applications.
