稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CYP2B6 is a member of the cytochrome P450 family, which plays a crucial role in the metabolism of various substances, including drugs, environmental toxins, and endogenous compounds. This enzyme is notably important due to its involvement in the biotransformation of several clinically relevant drugs, such as antiretrovirals, antidepressants, and analgesics. Variability in CYP2B6 activity, driven by genetic polymorphisms and environmental factors, can lead to altered drug efficacy and toxicity, highlighting the significance of studying this enzyme in pharmacogenomics. The production of recombinant CYP2B6 protein allows researchers to investigate its enzymatic properties, substrate specificity, and interactions with inhibitors or inducers in a controlled environment. Such studies are essential for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying drug metabolism, predicting individual responses to therapies, and developing safer, more effective drugs tailored to genetic profiles. Advances in recombinant protein technologies have facilitated the expression, purification, and functional analysis of CYP2B6, paving the way for significant contributions to personalized medicine and drug development. Furthermore, exploring the structural characteristics and functionality of CYP2B6 in vitro provides insights into the active site and potential drug-binding interactions, promoting the identification of novel therapeutic agents and the optimization of existing ones. Overall, research on recombinant CYP2B6 protein is vital for elucidating its critical role in drug metabolism and for enhancing our understanding of variability in drug response among individuals.
