Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ACTL6B, a member of the actin-like protein family, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its crucial role in various cellular processes, including transcriptional regulation, cell motility, and maintaining chromatin structure. As a component of the BAF (BRG1/BRM-associated factor) complex, ACTL6B contributes to the remodeling of chromatin, thereby influencing gene expression patterns essential for cellular differentiation and development. Research has indicated that dysregulation of ACTL6B is implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurodevelopmental disorders, highlighting its potential as both a biomarker and therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of ACTL6B protein allows for detailed functional studies and structural analyses, which are vital for understanding its mechanisms of action and interactions within the BAF complex. Investigating ACTL6B's properties through recombinant protein studies aids in elucidating its role in cellular dynamics and may pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting its pathways in disease states.
