Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ANXA5, or annexin A5, is a member of the annexin family of proteins, which are calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding proteins involved in various biological processes, including cell signaling, membrane trafficking, and apoptosis. Research on ANXA5 has gained significant attention due to its critical role in cardiovascular health and disease, particularly in the context of thrombosis and atherosclerosis. The protein is known to bind to phosphatidylserine, a lipid that becomes exposed on the outer layer of the cell membrane during apoptosis, leading to the clearance of dead cells and the prevention of inflammatory responses. Additionally, ANXA5 has been implicated in regulating platelet function and coagulation, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions in thrombotic disorders. The recombinant protein expression of ANXA5 allows for detailed structural and functional studies, enabling researchers to investigate its interactions with lipids and other proteins. Furthermore, recombinant ANXA5 has been explored as a bioactive agent in drug delivery and nanomedicine due to its ability to target specific cellular membranes. As a result, understanding the properties and functions of recombinant ANXA5 could unveil new insights into its therapeutic potential, paving the way for innovative approaches in treating cardiovascular diseases and other conditions related to cellular apoptosis and inflammation.
