Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
THBS3, or Thrombospondin-3, is a member of the Thrombospondin family of glycoproteins, which play crucial roles in cell-matrix interactions, tissue repair, and modulation of angiogenesis. It is primarily expressed in the extracellular matrix and has been implicated in various physiological and pathological processes, including cancer progression, tissue fibrosis, and inflammatory responses. Recent studies have highlighted its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target due to its involvement in tumor microenvironments and its regulatory effects on cell proliferation and migration. The recombinant form of THBS3 has been generated to investigate its structure-function relationships, therapeutic potential, and mechanisms of action in different biological contexts. Understanding the biological roles of THBS3, especially through the use of recombinant protein, could provide insights into its function in disease progression and offer new avenues for therapeutic interventions in related conditions, including cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Researchers are increasingly focused on characterizing the recombinant THBS3 to elucidate its interactions with other cell surface receptors and extracellular matrix components, aiming to uncover its complex roles during pathological conditions. This growing body of work underscores the importance of THBS3 in biomedical research and its potential implications for future therapeutic strategies.
