Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AKT1, a pivotal serine/threonine kinase, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including metabolism, growth, survival, and proliferation, making it a key player in the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway. Aberrant activation of AKT1 has been implicated in numerous human diseases, particularly cancer, as it promotes tumor cell growth and resistance to apoptosis. Research on AKT1 recombinant protein has gained significant attention due to its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the structure and function of AKT1 through recombinant protein studies can aid in the development of specific inhibitors, which could enhance treatment strategies for cancer and metabolic disorders. Furthermore, recombinant AKT1 can be utilized in high-throughput screening of drug candidates and in mechanistic studies to dissect its role in signaling pathways. While much has been elucidated about AKT1's functions, ongoing research aims to explore its interactions with various substrates and regulatory proteins, emphasizing the protein’s relevance in both normal physiology and pathological conditions. Thus, the production and characterization of AKT1 recombinant protein are vital for advancing our knowledge of its biological functions and therapeutic applications.
