Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SRP72 is a crucial component of the Signal Recognition Particle (SRP) complex, which plays an essential role in targeting proteins to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) in eukaryotic cells. Research on SRP72 has gained attention due to its involvement in the co-translational translocation of nascent polypeptides, thereby influencing protein synthesis and membrane insertion. Aberrations in SRP components, including SRP72, have been linked to various diseases, such as cancer and congenital disorders, emphasizing the importance of understanding its structure and function. Additionally, SRP72 is known to interact with other SRP proteins and ribonucleoprotein particles, making it pivotal for the proper functioning of the SRP pathway. Investigations into SRP72 have also expanded into the realms of protein engineering and therapeutic applications, as recombinant forms of SRP72 could potentially serve as biomarkers or therapeutic agents. Given its fundamental role in cellular protein sorting and its implication in health and disease, SRP72 remains a significant focus of molecular and cell biology research. Understanding its mechanisms at the molecular level could pave the way for innovative approaches in treating diseases linked to protein misfolding and trafficking defects.
